Sally, nicknamed by one of the staff at the San Jacinto shelter, is a 1 and a half year old Beagle mix. She came in as a stray over the counter by a good samaritan about a week before Rocky discovered her, fearful to the point where a calming collar was placed on her. Sally also came in underweight. Her kennel card is marked with “caution, tries to bite” and “NLT (not leash trained).” Sally would cower in the corner, but after a few days per the staff, she was able to be coaxed, and even laid her head on one of the staff members. In fact, her name was chosen by the staff she laid her head on.
Sally is now adoption available, and ready for a new home at Riverside County Department of Animal Services’ San Jacinto shelter location.
