Meet Saber, a 9-year-old Beagle/Terrier mix who’s the perfect blend of cuddle buddy and walking companion. Weighing in at 36 lbs, this sweet, affectionate boy is just as happy snuggled up on the couch as he is adventuring on a 4-mile walk. Originally adopted as a young puppy through Lovebugs Rescue, Saber recently lost the only family he had ever known due to their illness — but he’s proving resilient and full of love in his foster home.
Saber is crate trained, housebroken, and gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children. He’s healthy, recently had a dental and bloodwork done, and had a benign lipoma removed. The only thing this smart, snuggly boy could use a little help with? Leash manners — he just gets a bit excited for his outings!
