Rocky is a 2 and a half year old male Shepherd who was abandoned in night drop at the shelter by his owners. Left only with a harness and no microchip/collar, or information on the night drop sheet, it was unknown what was going on with this boy until closer inspection. This pup had a note around his harness that explained his name, when he was born (February 13th of 2022), and how the family had to give him up because they lost their job and were evicted.
Rocky is shut down at the shelter and it’s going to take a patient person and the right family to come along for him to help him blossom. There is absolutely hope – he is now officially on the dog walking program at the shelter, and once he’s out of his kennel on a leash (although still scared at this time), he has proven to be curious about the world.
