Rocket came into the shelter as a stray when a good samaritan found her and brought her into the shelter. As Rocky walked the halls of Animal Friends of the Valleys, he came across this girl and noticed how many German Shepherds are in the shelter, and knew she needed some love. He nicknames her “Rocket.”
After getting word that someone is adopting a German Shepherd, he becomes excited that it might be Rocket – and it is! Kristan and Tu, inspired by Rocky’s videos, came down to the shelter wanting to save a life, and Rocket fit perfectly into their lifestyle. After adopting her, they renamed her Emma, and now she is in her forever home with her new pet parents.
