Meet our wonderful boy Rip. Rip came to us after our local county animal control found him in a ditch. He had been hit by a vehicle. We got the call, went and pulled him from the shelter and straight to our vets we went. Our first thoughts were fractured pelvis or something similar as he could not stay balanced on one of his back legs and would literally end up sitting down without trying. Imagine our surprise when x-rays did not show any broken, fractured bones. We were referred to a neurologist and Rip received some meds for several weeks. He is now getting stronger and stronger, and doing so much better as you can see from these photos. He is a fun boy, with a naturally docked tail who loves to play and be with you. He is good with cats and dogs too! He is around 2 years old.
