Steele believes in second chances… even when life keeps testing him.
This happy Husky mix arrived as a stray on May 13, 2026 with a microchip—but once again, no one came for him. And heartbreakingly, this isn’t his first time back. Steele was previously at the shelter in March 2025, likely adopted and hoping he had finally found his forever home… only to find himself here again.
Despite it all, Steele is still pure joy.
Why Steele Is So Special
🐾 4 years, 2 months old
🐶 Husky mix, listed 36–75 lbs (likely around 45–50 lbs of fluff and love)
🤍 Stunning steely gray and white coat with sparkling blue eyes
💛 Friendly, playful, and full of happy energy
🦮 Easy to walk on leash (just very excited!)
🧠 Smart boy who knows how to sit
🤗 Loves attention, especially belly rubs
Steele is the kind of dog who lights up a room the moment he walks in. He’s enthusiastic, expressive, and so full of love that he can barely contain it—jumping around with excitement just to share how happy he is to be near people.
And under all that energy is a genuinely sweet, affectionate dog who just wants connection.

Heart of Steele
Steele has already been through more than most dogs should.
But he hasn’t lost his light.
He’s still here—still happy, still loving, still hoping this time will be different. And honestly, once you meet him, it’s hard not to feel it too.
Because Steele doesn’t just walk into a room…
He brings sunshine with him.
