💛 Bandit’s Story & Personality:
Bandit is a retired breeder dog from North Carolina who has made incredible progress in foster care. After only a week, he’s become part of the pack, playing with toys, cuddling up to his foster sibling, and enjoying belly rubs and kisses. He’s still working on leash training and gets a little nervous with quick movements, but he’s gaining confidence every day.
Recently groomed, Bandit is feeling like a brand new pup—just check out his adorable spring haircut! He sleeps peacefully through the night (preferably in bed with his people!) and is a sweetheart who thrives on love and patience.
🏡 Bandit’s Ideal Home:
✅ A fenced yard (non-negotiable)
✅ A well-socialized, small, young dog companion
✅ A single-family home (no apartments)
✅ No children under 12 years old
✅ Someone home often and experienced with breeder dogs or shy pups
✅ No cats
✨ Bonus Info:
- Bandit loves to bark (true to his dachshund roots!)
- He is adorable, affectionate, and will steal your heart if given time and patience
- Adoption is by approved application only and not available to residents of CT, RI, NH, ME, or MA
