Giselle’s journey hasn’t been easy. A Good Samaritan rescued her from a Meth Head selling her for just $20 on a street corner. Scared, exhausted, and having already had multiple litters of puppies, she arrived at rescue wary of the world and unsure of what safety felt like.

At first, Giselle clung to the walls of her kennel, too frightened to move. Slowly, with daily treats, gentle encouragement, and time spent observing the other fosters, she began to explore. She eventually ventured out with the other dogs, wagging her tail, enjoying her meals, and even showing signs of the happiness she had never been allowed to feel.

After three months of heartworm treatment and with a dental procedure coming up soon, Giselle is ready to meet the family who will help her continue this journey—patiently, lovingly, and safely.
