Reese is a 6.5-year-old Australian cattle dog mix female who was found in a residential neighborhood locally, however had a microchip leading to a Texas humane society. When the shelter called to ask for an owner or further info, they sadly stated they had no records, and the microchip should’ve been registered to the new owner. Without any owner info, she was then later adopted from the shelter.
Almost a year later, the family brought her back to the shelter because of a death in the family, likely one of her primary caretakers and loving family members. Reese is now nervous and anxious at the shelter, understandably so, as she waits for her next chapter in her life.
