Poppy is a 1.5 year old Cane Corso, who came in to the shelter as a stray over night. Poppy came in wearing a worn collar, and unfortunately no one ever came to reclaim her. Poppy is under stress being in a shelter and is in dire need of a foster. We have an offer of a rescue who will take her, but they need a local foster.
Poppy has the cutest way of greeting people, and smiles when she’s excited to see you! This big girl loves being in the play yard, playing fetch with squeaky toys. Poppy weighs about 94 pounds, but we like to think she is a gentle giant. We can’t wait to see her get into a home of her own and really blossom into the confident, wonderful dog we know she can be! At this time, she is recommended for a home with young teens, 13 and up due to her size. So, Don’t wait! Poppy is ready to join your family!
