UPDATE: Peter was ADOPTED!
Peter is a 3 ½ male Brussels Griffon mix who came into the shelter because he was found running around stray by Animal Control.
When the phone number on his collar/microchip was contacted, it was discovered that Peter’s original owner had sadly passed away, and a family or friend was supposed to be caring for the dog. However, this family/friend did not even know the dog’s name, and Peter is actually a nickname given by Sharyl, the Volunteer Coordinator at the shelter.
Now, Peter is available at Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA. Although, it is highly likely either Sharyl or front desk staff member Kim might be swooping in to claim him any time now!
*Please note that adoptions at Animal Friends of the Valleys are primarily for those who are able to visit the shelter in person; the shelter is unable to complete out of state adoptions or transport the dog. You must meet with the dog in person and it is highly recommended you bring in a dog at home to do a meet and greet with the shelter dog first before an adoption can be completed.*
