Pepperoni is a tiny senior gentleman with a huge heart and an even bigger love for comfort. At 12+ years old and just 9 pounds, this sweet Dachshund boy is the definition of calm, cuddly companionship. He’s been through a lot—but today, Pepperoni is healed, happy, and ready for his forever home.

When Pepperoni came to us, he was very underweight and dealing with perineal hernias. Those have since been fully repaired, and he’s feeling so much better! We’re still working on helping him gain a little more weight, but otherwise, this little guy is doing great and has no ongoing medical issues.

Pepperoni is a world-class sleeper and a certified burrowing champion. Soft beds are his love language. He’s cuddly, content, and just happy to be near his people. While his eyesight isn’t the best, it doesn’t slow him down—he navigates just fine and takes life at his own cozy pace.
