Patty is a 1-year-old female German Shepherd mix that is available at Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA. Patty came to the shelter when a woman drove up to the shelter in her car and had a volunteer go to the surrender area and ask for help to get a ‘stray dog’ out of her car. When an animal care staff member came out to retrieve the dog, once the dog was out of her car, the woman drove off without leaving her information behind. Patty’s nickname is given by Rocky, and is loosely based on the idea of a drive-thru food item (burger/patty); it’s as if the shelter was used as a drive-thru to drop off poor Patty!
