This girl is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mixed female who came into the shelter through night drop, where she was dumped without any information left on her. The staff have been working with her, but she has been incredibly nervous. To most likely gain a sense of control/power back, she often sits on the window ledge of her room.
Rocky sits with her, and it takes her a long time before she jumps down from the window ledge. After treats and gentle coaxing, he’s able to pet her. Nicknamed Paige, she hopes the hold for adoption on her will follow through, however after waiting all day at the shelter until closing, the hold never comes for her.
Thankfully, days after Rocky and the team work with her, she was adopted! More details to come.
