When our rescue was approached to take this boy the photo was sent with the plea….he was so malnourished and that face begged to be helped. We could not say NO. The photos on his Facebook site show him on original intake so that you can see how far he has come.
Oscar has been under vet care for the past 30 days to build him up and get him ready for a home. That time has come. He’s in great shape and is such a great dog. We are looking forward to him beginning his new life!
Around a year old, Oscar will not be a large dog. He weighs in under 50lbs. He’s gentle and easy going, but when outside with other dogs is happy and excited to consider playing! He’s smart but needs someone to teach him what those who didn’t care about him failed to. His foster mom in NJ is taking care of helping him learn all about living in a home of love right now and he is doing so well. He’s super smart, he’s loving and sweet, he’s good with other dogs and with people and he’s house broken.
Fully vetted he has been neutered, microchipped and is current on all vaccines (DHLPP, Rabies, Lyme and Influenza). He is heart worm negative and been on preventative since acquired. He’s gained needed weight and looks great.
