Meet Captain, a 5- to 7-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart full of love and eyes that are finally on the mend. Found as a stray in heartbreaking condition—his fur so matted around his eyes that it impaired his vision—Captain has since been groomed, treated, and given the comfort and care he so desperately needed. Diagnosed with dry eye, a common and manageable condition in Shih Tzus, he now receives daily drops and is feeling so much better. Despite his rough past, Captain has only love to give.
