Miracle was found on Memorial Day weekend tied to a tree and she had a collar embedded in her neck so much that it actually ripped open her skin, we brought her to the vet as soon as possible and they were able to do a surgery and stitch up her neck after that she has healed great and has become very friendly and love everybody. I have attached a before and after photo of her neck blurred of course. Miracle is a German shepherd, 2-3 years old and 50 lbs.
She was found Memorial Day weekend with a wounded neck. She was a little shy, understandably, but she is very sweet and gives us hugs. Hasn’t been with other dogs yet but has been non reactive. Walks well on a leash. She is warming up nicely to everybody at the rescue and getting more social everyday. her full name is Memorial Day Miracle because she was a Memorial Day Miracle.
