💕 Meet Mirabelle
Mirabelle is a gentle and affectionate 2-year-old Beagle/Hound mix who’s ready to leave her past behind and find a home full of love and belly rubs. This sweet girl dreams of sniffy walks (a must for any hound!) and cozy cuddle sessions at the end of the day. She gets along well with other dogs, and while she hasn’t yet met cats or children, the rescue is happy to help with slow introductions and guidance.
She’s looking for a family to help her feel safe, loved, and finally at home—a place where she can return the favor with tail wags, soft gazes, and loyal companionship.
💉 Special Adoption Note
Mirabelle is heartworm positive and currently part of a groundbreaking treatment study at Lucky Dog’s South Carolina Rescue Campus. Dogs are randomly assigned to either a 2-shot or 3-shot protocol and are carefully monitored. Four weeks after her final injection, Mirabelle will be eligible to travel to the DC area for foster or adoptive placement.
Follow-up care is fully covered and includes two free heartworm tests—one at 6 months and another at 9 months post-treatment.
