Millie is an approx. 12 year old, 8 pound Cairn Terrier/Brussels Griffon mixed breed spayed female. This precious little lady came into the care of Silicon Valley Project through special circumstances. A social media platform alerted a situation involving a tiny dog with a serious medical emergency that was abandoned in the Silver Creek neighborhood.
She was rescued by one of our volunteers after a neighborhood search and brought to SJ Animal Shelter for initial care. Following successful surgery, Millie is making a full recovery. Millie is now enjoying regular meals, special treats, happily takes her medications and is extremely gentle and sweet. Millie is in need of a good home that can give her love, care, kindness, and understanding she has likely never known.
This little darling enjoys a comfortable place to sleep and is showing her sweet and calm personality and enjoys the company of cats, dogs and people. Millie still experiences some mobility issues but continues to improve with exposure to a normal family life and post-surgery recovery. Between rest and relaxation and outdoor time, Millie is exploring her surroundings and becoming more familiar and trusting. Her foster momma says she is very content to snuggle, enjoys a soft bed, have healthy meals, and chirps for meals and dog treats!
This quiet little dear deserves love and care, comfort and compassion in her golden years. Like many seniors, Millie has some minor ongoing health issues so will need high quality vet care for her golden years. Are you that special person to give Millie the love and safe home she deserves?
