Winslow is a tender-hearted, 8-year-old Chihuahua who came to Ninna’s Road to Rescue with 12 other Chihuahuas from a shelter in Northeast Louisiana. The largest female in the group, Winslow is likely the matriarch—and certainly one of the sweetest. She’s gentle, low energy, kennel-trained, and gets along well with other dogs. At only 6.7 pounds, she’s happiest when carried and cuddled, which is perfect since leash walks aren’t really her thing.
She’s spayed, had a recent dental (including 2 extractions), and is heartworm and fecal negative. Winslow is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives. She’s looking for a calm home, ideally without small children or large predators nearby (due to her size). A secure, indoor-focused lifestyle is essential.
