Toby is a gentle and affectionate German Shepherd mix who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas and brought to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on February 14th. This sweet boy immediately captured hearts with his wagging tail, easy-going personality, and calm demeanor—even during his transport to safety. Volunteers describe him as friendly, accepting of affection, and a good walker on leash.
Toby is estimated to have been born in December 2022 and currently weighs 62.4 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm/tick tested negative, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives. While his exact breed is unknown, families are encouraged to review his photos and videos to determine if his temperament and energy level are a good match for their lifestyle.
