Maurice is a Labrador Retriever mix who has already been at the shelter over 2 months!! He came in as a stray on 11/8/2024 and is about 6 years old. He is listed as 36-75 lbs with a handsome and sleek black coat with bright brown eyes and a wonderful smile. He came in intact but has since been neutered! The Dog Walkers are finding him to be the biggest Loverboy: He is friendly and playful with great puppy like energy! You would never guess his age!
He loves to be adored and will give gentle hugs and kisses in return. He is well behaved and VERY housebroken! He walks well on leash but it appears it is pretty new to him and he will lean into you while walking. He is also sensitive to the loud cars on the street. He is very smart and knows how to sit and shake when asked to. PLEASE help this boy escape the shelter’s confinement soon – it’s his turn!
