Mama Bear is our longest doggie resident at Lake Humane, she has been here since April, so she is quickly approaching 6 months with us. Mama Bear ended up at our shelter after her previous owner went to jail. Her name is extremely fitting because she had just had a litter of pups before she came to us, but of course she is now spayed. Mama Bear is a big strong love bug. She loves nothing more than to just hang out with her people, especially children, she is a young human lover! Mama’s absolute favorite thing in the world is to play in water. She loves to jump around a play in pools and she will try her best to catch all of the water that splashes up at her. Mama Bear has been working on walking politely, but she is a strong girl, so she needs someone that is willing to work with her. Mama Bear prefers to be the only animal in the home where she can get all the attention that she deserves.
