UPDATE: Luke has been ADOPTED! His new name is Rambo now – pretty fitting we’d say!
Luke, nicknamed by Rocky, is a small and nervous 1-year-old male Chihuahua mix. He was surrendered by a good samaritan when homeless folks asked for help as they did not know who he belonged to, nor did they want to keep him. Luke has been at the shelter for two weeks, and has been moved around as he is very dog selective. He is also still nervous and freezes up at first with new people, making it even harder for Luke to find a new home.
Rocky sits with Luke to tell his story in hopes of finding him a new and patient household. It’s recommended if there are dogs at home, either the potential adopting party does a meet and greet first, or Luke finds a home without any other dogs.
