Lucy is a 10 month old female German Shepherd mix that originally came into the shelter earlier this year as a stray. She had been found by someone as she wandered onto their large property terrified and in a corner. At the shelter, they had paired her up with another dog and she became less afraid, and new parents adopted her.
She had her forever home – until tragically her human Dad suddenly passed away. With her mom having to move away as a result, she had no choice but to surrender Lucy to the shelter again, tears in her eyes. Lucy was whining and crying for her Mom the same as soon she was dropped off. Lucy was once again paired with another dog, who just so happened to be Reese, another dog Rocky had sat with, however Reese finally found her own forever home.
Lucy can swim in a pool, is obedience trained, has shown over and over again she does well with other dogs, and is overall a sweet girl who just needs companionship and to gain trust to become the best version of herself.
