Lucy, nicknamed by the San Jacinto shelter staff, is only about 14 weeks old. Before Rocky spots her, she had came into the shelter less than a week prior in a fearful state. According to notes, she was a stray picked up by Animal Control as someone had called her in, as they saw that she was abandoned on their property. The suspicion is they may have not wanted to deal with her, and placed responsibility on a random person where they presumably dumped her on their property and left. Not only was she frozen in fear upon pick up, but she was also covered in ticks. Thankfully, the shelter staff immediately took care of her ticks with medication and plucking of the ticks. However, she is still extremely nervous and hides from new people.
Lucy is now adoption available, searching for her forever home that will be patient and kind towards her, never abandoning her.
