London is a 10 month old Husky mixed female with no collar or microchip who came into the shelter as a citizen turn in. Her notes stated the following: a good samaritan saw the owners of this dog dumping her over by an AM/PM and gas station. This good samaritan intervened and told the owners he would take the dog as he did not want the dog to get hit by a car, considering the location is right next to a very busy freeway. London’s name is known as the good samaritan noted the owners called her by that name. Currently, this pup does have a hold, and it appears to be the person who intervened as it states he was interested in placing a hold on the dog, but we will see if they are able to follow through…
In the meantime, London is apprehensive and nervous about new people. She is still getting to know staff and they are also trying to work with her to get her feeling more confident. She initially growled at Rocky, and per staff, has been difficult to leash and trembles frequently in fear/anxiety. She definitely needs the spotlight in order to bloom into her best self within a loving home.
