Lincoln is a male Pug/Boxer mix that is approximately 1 years old . He came to us from an owner that had to surrender him due to financial hardship. He is a very happy, sweet, and loving dog that can never get too much love and attention! He is fun and playful, likes toys, and LOVES tug of war. He is good on a leash with a harness. He has a strong bond with his caregivers and always wants to be by their side. He has mild separation anxiety and has a lot of energy so he needs to be in a home that will give him lots of love, attention, and exercise! We know that he is good with older kids (10+) and other dogs. Smaller children, cats, and other animals may be an issue.
He came from a home with a dog companion so he would be well suited in a home that already has a dog who needs a friend. We are currently working on potty training and he is doing well. Hopefully, he will be completely trained by the time he is ready for adoption. We are still in the process of getting all of his medical needs completed (neutered, etc.) So he will be available to be adopted soon. Will not adopt him to a family has Large breed dog, needs to have small breed dog in the home currently if potential family does have another dog, between 1-5 years old. He will be OK being only child. He will be neutered on Aug. 25**
