Larz is around a 6 years old, male Siberian Husky and came into the shelter as a stray wearing a make shift harness that our medical team had to cut off because it was so tightly wrapped around him. During his routine check-up and upon his intake, medical staff realized he has an old injury to his left eye, which is non-functional, but this doesn’t stop this guy from getting around!
He came in shedding his coat, and slightly matted but our staff quickly brushed him out and as he’s still shedding his winter coat, they got a lot of that matting out and he is feeling much better. Larz did growl during his food test, and tends to guard his toys, so he would do best with a savvy owner who has experience with guarding. He did well with his play test with a low-key, polite, female canine friend, but can try to mount sometimes. Due to his guarding he would do best in a solo dog only home, with kids ages 16+.
