Hi there, I’m Kourtney! A one-year-old mystery blend, eagerly on the lookout for my forever home. I was rescued by I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue alongside my four siblings and our mother from the Bakersfield animal shelter. Though I’ve outgrown my puppy days, I’m still a bit shy around humans, especially men.
It’s quite a change from my earlier days—I used to be a toy extraordinaire, fetching with boundless energy until dusk. My foster mom even nicknamed me “love bug” because I adored embraces and cuddles at every opportunity. Now, I’m searching for people who can help me regain that trust and affection, though it may take some patience to get there.
