Juneau was neglected since he was a pup and after three years of being in a home he started having seizures.  He was not fixed and only had one testicle exposed.  The other was inside.   He never got all his shots and never a heartworm test or meds.  They didn’t want to do blood work on him or buy his needed phenobarbital meds.

We got a call first from our vets office about possibly taking him and then the owner called and wanted to surrender him.   We took him in and he’s FANTASTIC.  Smart, loving, sweet as can be.

We did all his vetting, neutering, neurologist work up, etc.   He is epileptic and will be.  It can be controlled by his meds daily and like a lot of people who are epileptic they can live a very healthy and happy life.

So we are looking for a adopter who is home or has someone home all the time and can afford his meds monthly.      He likes other dogs and is fine with them if they accept him.

He’s attentive and smiling all day long.  Three years old.

We’d like to adopt him to someone in Metro Detroit area so we can keep his vet and neurologist and do a trial adoption to make sure he’s happy to settle in.   We’d like him to live in a house with a fenced year as he loves to race around outside.

We do a interview and don’t do applications up front first.  We are looking for a mature household.  No little kids, working adults should work from home due to his situation.  He’s young so we are not looking for a adopter older than 60.
