Hardy is a stunning young German Shepherd with a glossy black coat, bright brown eyes, and a heart full of affection. Found as a stray and brought to Animal Friends of the Valleys on May 15, 2025, this 1-year-old boy may be large in size, but he’s even bigger in love. Though not yet neutered, Hardy is already showing off his good-boy manners—he’s housebroken, knows how to sit, and absolutely lives for praise and pets.
Described by dog walkers as a “giant puppy,” Hardy is friendly, playful, and known for giving the sweetest bear hugs. He’s currently kenneled with his buddy Blackey and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether he’s sitting on command, soaking up affection, or flashing his happy grin, Hardy is ready to be someone’s loyal, loving best friend.
