Meet Gianna!! Gianna and Gino were found in Mississippi walking around looking for food and water. They were stranded and needed someone to love them. When Fetching Hearts was called to help, we jumped and said we would absolutely help them. Gianna loves to play and romp around with all the dogs big and small. She will make such an awesome family member as she loves kids of all ages. Gianna will pounce around with this kids, dog friends and anyone who wants to play. Just a happy baby who loves to eat, sleep, play and repeat!!! Gianna loves chasing the butterflies and birds when outside. She will put her butt up in the air and try to play with them. LOL!!! Once Gianna grows up, she will be a pup who will love to go on hikes, run in the backyard with you and the family or when there is some downtime, snuggle up with you on the couch. Please know that we do not give puppies to any family or couple. They will require training just like every puppy. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don’t break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartgard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
