Gertie is a sweet senior Doberman Pinscher / German Shepherd mix who’s been overlooked for far too long. After being picked up by Animal Control, her former family never came back for her—and she’s now been at the rescue for over three years with no applications. Gertie is house trained, crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs. She’s a good girl with great manners and a big heart.
Due to her past, Gertie can be cautious with some people, so a calm home without small children or cats is best. She has found peace and stability in her rescue home and is now considered a Forever Foster, which means she will live out her life in the loving care of her current foster.
