Simon is a tall, handsome Shepherd mix who was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. Since arriving, this 1-year-old boy has captured the hearts of the dog walkers with his gentle spirit and quiet bravery. While he’s still shy and easily spooked by loud noises or unfamiliar things, once he reaches a quiet field, he begins to relax and show his sweet, doggy self.
Simon walks nicely on a leash—even though it may be new to him—and appears to be housebroken. He LOVES being called a “best boy” and melts under kind pets and affection. With a few tasty treats and patient encouragement, he’s already building confidence and showing signs of the loyal companion he’s meant to be.
