Chester is a 7-month-old Whoodle who is just beginning to understand what life in a real home feels like. His early months were spent in a breeder kennel with very little handling or socialization, so everything—from people to everyday household sounds—is still new and sometimes overwhelming. At around 30 pounds, he’s a quiet, gentle puppy who is slowly learning that the world doesn’t have to be scary.

In his foster environment, Chester doesn’t rush in. Instead, he observes first, taking in his surroundings from a safe distance before gradually settling into calm routines. With consistency and patience, he begins to relax—and those small moments of comfort are where his progress shines.

Why Chester Is Special

🐾 7-month-old Whoodle puppy still learning home life
💖 Very gentle, shy, and sensitive temperament
🌱 Slowly building confidence through calm routines
🐶 Feels safest with a calm, friendly dog his size or smaller
🏡 Not leash trained and not ready for walks yet
🌳 Requires a fully fenced, secure yard for safety

What He Needs to Thrive

✔️ A calm, patient, and experienced household
✔️ Someone home during the day to help him feel secure
✔️ A structured environment with predictable routines
✔️ A friendly resident dog his size or smaller (strongly preferred)
✔️ Children aged 13+ only
✔️ No crates—he requires an approved puppy pen in a main living area
✔️ A home that understands he is a flight risk if frightened
✔️ No invisible fencing and no travel over 2 hours
✔️ Out-of-state adopters must pick up in person

Chester is not yet ready for leash walks, so his world currently exists within the safety of a home and fenced yard. Doorways, gates, and transitions must be handled carefully as he continues to build trust and confidence.

What he needs most is time—time to watch, time to adjust, and time to understand that people are safe. In the right environment, Chester has the potential to grow into a deeply bonded, loyal companion.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and his adoption fee is $295.

Chester isn’t looking for a fast-paced life—he’s looking for a safe beginning, where he can finally learn how to just be a dog.
