This kind yet nervous girl was nicknamed Fiona by Rocky – an English Bulldog mix around 3 years old. She was found overnight by a Good Samaritan, and the finder posted her on social media with hope that her owner would be located, but with no reply and no collar or microchip, they had to bring her to Animal Friends of the Valleys shelter in Wildomar, CA. Fiona then went to the vet the next day from the shelter because they noted something was wrong with her private parts and was diagnosed with a minor prolapse, but thankfully not severe enough to need treatment at this time. However, with her spay treatment before going to a new home as required by the shelter, the prolapse would be corrected. The cause of this issue could very well be the result of a difficult birth and the force of pushing. The health check staff also noted she had flea dirt, scabs and scarring on ears from likely from past fleas.

Fiona is shy, yet curious – she has shown she enjoys attention in her own quiet fashion, however there is much yet to discover with this girl that a lucky adopter will be able to find out if they take her home! Fiona is at Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA. Her ID is #777740. ***Please contact Animal Friends of the Valleys for out of state transport inquiries. Adoptions are first come, first serve. Pets must be visited with in person prior to an adoption. Rocky Kanaka is not responsible for adoption processes and interested parties must go through the shelter for more details on adopting.***
