Faith for Adoption

Faith, nicknamed by Rocky, is estimated to be around 5 1/2 years old. She was found a week and a half prior to coming into the shelter, and the person who found her posted about her on social media to try and find the owner with no luck. Although she was found wearing a blue collar that said the name “Sky,” it was dirty and falling apart, so it was thrown away. Rocky nicknamed her Faith and did not keep her name Sky, as she unfortunately did not react well to her previous name.
Faith has a possible allergy as she has some hair loss, but the finder gave her a bath and used hot spot and itch relief spray before turning her in to help any way they could. Faith also does have cauliflower ear with possible hematomas, and as for her dental state, she only has two outermost incisors, chipped canines, and moderate tartar on molars. She does have a mammary mass and an abdominal growth, which lines up with no sign of spay (which can often lead to growths). The shelter is currently treating her with meds for hair loss, but otherwise don’t see any other signs of an active illness. Of course, Faith still needs to see a vet to fully give a check on her health.
Faith is overall a sweet girl, just dealing with some past traumas we may never fully understand, and needs a home that will be gentle with her and help her get back to a fully healthy pup, mind and body. ***Please contact Animal Friends of the Valleys for out of state transport inquiries.
