It’s hard to believe Ellie was in a kill shelter in Alabama, starving and terrified. She’s ready to find her own home. She is housetrained, she loves people, and she loves to play with other dogs. Ellie is very shy at first and easily startled. We are assuming by the marks on her neck that she was kept tied up somewhere and beaten.
It is obvious that she was not fed. If you reach towards her suddenly she will back away in fear. Ellie is just one of many animals who have been saved from a bleak future. So please, if you’re able to adopt or foster an animal, do so! They will be forever grateful.
