Ellie’s story began on the streets of Rocky Point, Mexico, where she was born and lived for the first few months of her life. Despite the care and attention she received at the shelter, Ellie longed for a forever home where she could be loved and cared for by a family of her own. That’s when the staff at Barb’s Dog Rescue contacted PAWS (Pound Animals Worth Saving), an animal rescue organization that helps find homes for dogs like Ellie all over the world. With the help of PAWS, Ellie was flown to the United States and placed in a foster home where she could continue to receive the love and care she needed while waiting for her forever family to find her. Now, Ellie is available for adoption through PAWS and is waiting for the perfect family to take her home and give her the life she deserves.
