Duke the Shepherd/Terrier Mix Puppy Is Ready to Steal Your Heart

DukeDuke! 🤎 He is a Shepherd/Terrier mix who was turned in by his owner on 12/31/2025 for reasons I do not know. He is just a baby 🍼 at 7 months old and not yet neutered. He is listed as 2-35 lbs but I’d guess he’s around 25-30 lbs. He has a stunning black and brown coat with the sweetest but also saddest brown eyes. 😍 He doesn’t smile much but he is very sweet and he’s actually a fun lil guy! 🥳 Be sure to look at the very last pic - I cropped out a close up so you could see his adorable mustache! 🥸He is friendly and playful, just Iike a puppy should be! 🐶 He is housebroken, well behaved and knows how to sit when asked to! 🤩 He has been kenneled with other dogs and gets along great! 👯‍♂️ He walks great with a leash. 🦮 He loves to be petted, has a gentle vibe and is an easy guy to hang out with! 😎 AND he’s a Shepherd/Terrier mix with a mustache! Meet Duke, a 7-month-old Shepherd/Terrier mix with a stunning black-and-brown coat and the sweetest, soulful brown eyes. Duke came to Animal Friends of the Valleys on 12/31/2025 and is looking for a family to call his own. This playful, friendly little guy is the perfect mix of puppy energy and gentle affection.

Though his eyes may look a little sad, Duke is full of fun! He is housebroken, well-behaved, and already knows how to “sit” on command. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys walks on a leash, and loves being petted. Duke is the kind of pup who makes hanging out effortless and every visit a joyful experience.
