Daisy Hope was transferred to Lily’s Pad Rescue from Tacoma Humane Society to recover from multiple gunshot wounds. Rather than have her recover in a kennel in the shelter we wanted to provide a soft bed in a home environment so she could heal not only from her physical wounds but also from the trauma of being shot.
Daisy had an initial surgery with the shelter but soon after arriving to her foster home we discovered she still had bone and tooth fragments that needed to be removed. During her 2nd surgery the vet team placed composite in her jaw so bone could hopefully restructure.
