UPDATE 02/25/25: Cupid has been officially ADOPTED by the folks who came to see him the same day Rocky sat with him!

Cupid is a 1 and a half year old male Pug that was found by a good samaritan when he suddenly appeared at their home. After a week, likely due to trying to find his owner, they turned him into the shelter. With only a collar and no ID or microchip, unfortunately not much else is known about this boy’s past. He appears terrified and avoids eye contact initially with passerby, making it harder for him to adopt out, however after some time and affection, can relax in the arms of a patient person. Cupid is nicknamed by Rocky, as he was turned into the shelter on Valentine’s day. Thankfully, the same day that Rocky goes to sit in with Cupid is when an adopter comes to take him to his new home and life!

Cupid has officially been adopted by Beatriz and Gerardo – he is going to have a buddy who was also adopted just days before from the same shelter at Animal Friends of the Valleys. Let’s go Cupid!
