Chopper’s story is one filled with love, loyalty, and new beginnings. This sweet little guy once belonged to Debbie, the sister of SoCo Rescue’s President/CEO, Scott Bennett. Before she passed in 2023, Debbie made Scott promise to always care for Chopper—and he’s kept that promise dearly. After living with Debbie’s daughter for two and a half years, HOA restrictions forced her to give him up. Scott lovingly took Chopper in but knows this special boy deserves a home where he can soak up all the one-on-one attention he craves.

Chopper is currently at our rescue in Georgia but is also available for adoption in the NJ area. With an approved application, he can be transported to the Flemington, NJ area to attend our adoption events at Tractor Supply in Ringoes.
