Chiquita is a 7-year-old female Great Pyrenees who came into the shelter due to a welfare situation – a living circumstance that was dire enough that Animal Control needed to step in and visit the home. She was then safely brought to the shelter where after closer inspection, was most likely used as a backyard breeding dog, and has definitely had litters previously. Her fur is dingy and thin, and her spirit has been broken. But with good food, love, and attention, Chiquita’s heart and body will heal!
