Charlie, a 3-year-old, 45 lb tri-colored shelter rescue with blue ticking, is currently adjusting to life at Beagles & Buddies since late March. Given his sensitivities, he is best suited for a home without children as he settles into his new environment.
Working with our trainer, Linda, we are focusing on enhancing Charlie’s submissiveness through gentle, controlled interactions to help him become more comfortable with close contact, such as having a child or small dog near his belly. This process will be updated in his profile by April 10. His initial meeting with a potential family was less than ideal, so we are taking extra care to ensure his next introduction goes smoothly. We believe Charlie deserves a chance to show his true, handsome self in a calm and understanding setting.
