This beautiful 4.5-year-old male chocolate Labrador Retriever at the shelter was found by a good samaritan and brought to the shelter when he was found wandering around a nearby casino. After being placed in night drop, he now waits in his kennel for someone to take the time to bring him out of his shell.
When Rocky first visits with him, Rocky has to go extremely slow, as this boy is clearly nervous and even growls and cowers. After some time, Rocky discovers this Lab likes treats, and even has an interest in toys! Nicknamed “Charlie,” by Rocky, he warms up much easier now thanks to Rocky and Mel, the shelter dog groomer. However, he still becomes fearful of loud noises and fast movements, and needs a family that will understand his needs.
