Meet Brady, a 1-year-old German Shepherd who was found as a stray and taken in by Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA on 6/16/2025. With his soft black and tan coat, soulful eyes, and gentle demeanor, this sweet young boy is hoping his lucky day is just around the corner.

Brady is everything you’d want in a loyal companion: housebroken, well-behaved, and eager to please. He waits patiently while his collar is put on, walks nicely on a leash, and knows how to sit on command. Volunteers say he’s a true gentleman—affectionate, calm, and full of gentle charm. He also appears to be dog-social, watching other pups in the play yard with happy curiosity.

Brady’s Best Qualities:

  • 1 year old, 36–75 lbs (on the smaller side for a Shepherd)
  • Smart, housebroken, and sits on command
  • Gentle and affectionate—gives the best “gentles”
  • Easy on leash and calm during handling
  • Possibly dog-friendly (based on observations)
  • Great size for adventures, car rides, or couch snuggles
  • Not yet neutered (as of intake)

This young Shepherd has clearly had some guidance in his past and is longing for someone to help him write his next chapter. Whether you’re looking for a hiking partner, a loyal shadow, or a best friend, Brady is ready to be all that and more.
