Booger is a 10 year old Lab mix who came from a shelter in Southeast Louisiana, where our home base is located deep in Cajun Bayou Country.
He had been in a home since 2014 when he was first adopted from us. During the recent event of Hurricane Ida in Southeast Louisiana, his elderly family lost everything on top of already having medical issues. It was a very hard decision for them to make but it was decided Booger would come back to our Rescue to seek another loving home.
He is used to a quiet life which consisted of couch time, belly rubs, dressing up for Holidays, chewing on his Benebones and lots and lots of Love. He is fully vetted and trained. Booger does not chew up things nor does he dig. He barks only when he seeks something from you (a treat, needs to go out to potty, if you are late with his breakfast, etc.)
He would do best as an only dog (has been the only dog for the past 7 years).
We are unsure about how he would be around very young children as his previous family did not have a way to expose him to any.
