Bengi 4 years, Male, Medium Benji is an Idaho Shaggy and probably was a working dog in his last life. He was a stray so we don’t know about his past, but we have learned that he is very friendly with people, loves attention and will chase small animals.
He has a lot of energy and will need an active home. He has done well with the dogs we have introduced him to but seems reactive to unfixed male dogs. When he arrived he was not yet neutered, so there may be some latent alfa dog traits.
Bengi is good on a leash but doesn’t seem to know any other commands. We are working with him on some basic skills. We don’t know if he his house trained, but he is very smart so he will likely learn pretty quickly with consistent training. Benji is now neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and microchipped.
